Back from a long weekend with Wheels of Morrocco. Did it as a solo traveller and didn't have to worry. It was great! A proper adventure! Very friendly group of fellow travellers and a great team of group leaders. Simple to fly to Marrakech, easy to get around, all well organised with good local food and the right mix of nice accommodation and proper adventure riding. Desert, mountains, canyons, river crossing, avalanches - all the ingredients of a good ride out. Many thanks guys and hope to do a longer one when time permits, Mike RPosted on Google![]()

Just back from a really memorable long weekend trip with Wheels of Morocco. Stunning loop from Marrakesh up through the Atlas Mountains via Tizin’ Test and back through Tizin’ Tichka pass. Great bikes (I was on a Tenere, which I found ideal for the route and surfaces), amazing scenery, excellent accommodation/food and a really nice bunch of people to share the experience with. Absolutely loved being back on a bike in this superb location after several years away from riding. Greg, Amine, Abdou and Fran were excellent hosts/guides from beginning to end. All in all, a lot of fun and highly recommended! MichaelPosted on Google![]()

Just returned from the wheels of morrocco long weekend tour, the tour exceeded my expectations, Greg, Fran, Amine and Abdo were super professional, the scenery was amazing and will do another trip on the future, my only negative was the KTM390 wasnt suitable for the faster road sections and didn’t perform as well as the Teneres off road, looking forwards to my next adventure+0Posted on Google![]()

My wife and I have just returned from the long weekend tour with Greg and the team. What a great experience and the scenery is stunning. We met a wonderful group of riders and combined with the motorcycles it could not have been better. I'm an experienced rider and I still learned a thing or two, so never think it's too late or that you won't be tested. No one is that good! Thank you team for a great experience and I wish your company the best for the future. Go with WOM and have fun!Posted on Google![]()

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend trip to Morocco. Out guide was brilliant, the hotels were amazing and the food was excellent. The whole trip was well thought out and we were well supported by the whole team. I'd perhaps choose a cooler time of year to go, we went September.+7Posted on Google![]()

Just returned home from the Long Weekend Tour. What can I say apart from amazing from start to finish. Everything from initial contact and booking with Vicki, hotel transfers, hotel choice, route choice, and the daily photos and videos that were uploaded to the group chat was first class. The tour guides, Greg, Amine and Abdou were all superb from start to finish. Always available to answer any questions, and help in any way possible. My only regret is not choosing a longer trip, but there is always next time. Thanks again to everyone involved 👍. Duncan+0Posted on Google![]()

The Long Weekend trip was excellent. The general organisation was pretty slick throughout, the bikes were well maintained and the riding route was really varied and interesting. All the hotels were a decent standard and our guide Abdou did a good job making sure everyone in the group was looked after. I think we would all have preferred to pay a little extra for the trip to include full insurance cover, rather than the €3000 deposit against any damages, but the repair rates within that seemed pretty reasonable and none of us had any issues.Posted on Google![]()

Long Weekend Tour - March 24 Just returned from the Long Weekend Tour - what a fantastic trip. Amazing roads - twisties, mountain passes, some superb sweeping black-top and great off-road (not compulsory - we requested it). Extremely well organised, the bikes were perfect and we visited some incredible places. Great company, lots of laughs and completely memorable. Thank you Greg, Abdul, Amine and Viki for a wonderful tour. Can't recommend WoM highly enough. We will be back for another tour. Mike & Sue+0Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Put this on your calendar! Toured with WOM in May of 2022 - but tripadvisor asked for another rating. Would absolutely recommend. I did the long weekend tour and plan to return for one of the longer options. Great people; wonderful scenery. The bikes are well maintained - or basically new ( I rode T7 and loved it). Hotels and food were also very nice.Posted on Google![]()

I cannot recommend this company enough. We just finished the “Long Weekend” tour and my only regret is that we didn’t have the time for more. Viki was incredibly helpful and responsive leading up to our trip, and we couldn’t have had better guides than Abdou and Amine. We never felt pressured to ride above or below our skill-set, and the routes were well thought through- easily some of the most memorable riding of my life. The bikes, accommodations, cuisine…. All top notch. Big thanks to the team for such a great time. We’ll be back!+1Posted on Google![]()

Long Weekend I did the long weekend tour around the Atlas Mountains in May 2023. Very well prepared bikes, great roads, amazing scenery and cool hotels. Greg and Abdou did a great job of leading and supporting the group. There is a lot of information to absorb at the start but you soon get used to riding in Morocco. This is helped by Greg leading by example plus there really is not much traffic outside of the city and Moroccan drivers are very polite. Make sure you have at least basic offroad riding skills. This was my first trip in Africa and I hope to do more. I can highly recommend Wheels of Morocco.+1Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

re-booked already! What a great trip! WoM know the country inside-out. Organisation, leadership and support was second-to-none. Greg and Abdou make a great team. Morocco has it all; great roads, incredible scenery, good food and friendly people. The tour took in so many landscapes; cedar forests, the stunning mountainscape and of course the desert, which really was something else. The roads are mostly super grippy new tarmac, with plenty of twisties and flowing bends. Already re-booked for a long weekend tour for next spring!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

WOM - Long weekend ride with Billy - Lifetime experience! WOM Review - Long weekend ride with Billy I recently returned from the Long Weekend ride with Wheels of Morocco and want to leave a detailed review for those looking to ride with WOM. 1st – the trip: this was truly a lifetime trip. I cannot say enough positive things about the group, the ride, and the experience. Viki was wonderful and patient answering a bunch of questions over the 14 months we spent planning the trip. Billy was incredible as a host and tour guide and Abdou was wonderful in the support vehicle and all along the way. I also got to spend some time with Greg at our farewell dinner – he was also great! This group would have made the trip an awesome experience even without the motorcycles. 2nd – the ride and the bikes: I have ridden casually many years; live in north Texas and the roads here are concrete; mostly flat and even our “twisties” are nothing like I encountered in Morocco. Very simply there were a few spots on day 1 that worried me that I would not be able to make 3 days if it got much harder. There were narrow roads: tight blind uphill turns, and we had a little rain. Also, I had expected a BMW (which I have at home) but we ended up on their new T7’s which was a little tall for me. I was not initially a fan – but now that it has been a few weeks – I am starting to miss it. Riding out of and into Marrakech is interesting with lane splitting and the crazy traffic and scooters – but this was all pretty good fun. We changed the day 2 plan and ended up riding through Taliouine and Tazenakht which were really highlights of the journey – I would recommend this route. Be prepared for stretches of gravel (not much – but some) if you take this ride. Overall, it was great, and Billy was always nearby to alert of upcoming tricky spots. 3rd – the food and accommodations: All of this was beyond expectations. The hotel in Marrakech is large; nice pool; good food. –and near a very convenient mall/grocery. The hotel in Taroudunt was quiet and peaceful and built next to the city wall – very cool. And the place we stopped in Ait Benhaddou was also a great spot. I would stay at all 3 again. Summary: I have travelled a fair amount (U.S and Europe) over the years but this was special. Morocco was wonderful and I enjoyed Marrakech; Taroudant and Ait Benhaddou and the stops along the way immensely. I also made some great friends from other parts of the world that I hope to keep in contact with. The people, food and experience were all amazing. I will return! Thank you, Billy; Viki; Abdou and Greg for the great experience!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Weekend training and ride If you want to experience Morocco in the best way possible, consider doing it on two wheels. The roads around the country are great, but getting off road is even better. Desert, mountains, ocean...it's all beautiful. On this trip our group only had time for a weekend getaway, but we are already hoping to arrange another adventure this year. Greg and Viki helped our group organize a day of mixed training and riding, and then an all day ride. Just tell them what you want, what your riding abilities are, and you're sure to end up with an incredible experience. Leave yourself plenty of time though; Morocco is quite a large country and each area is unique. Despite the pandemic, travel around Morocco was safe and no problem. Just check on any current restrictions and the guides will be able to help arrange details.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Long weekend We had a fabulous long weekend in late October. It was the first long trip for my wife as pillion and we both had a fabulous time all helped by the highly professional approach of Greg and Viktoria who are delightful. The route was well planned, riding at our own pace with great accommodation at each destination. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for our lovely hosts who looked after us extremely well including a very efficient transfer from/to the airport. We plan to come back for a longer trip!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

That's why I go for a ride with professionals We had a 3 day long weekend with Wheels of Morocco. Professional organization, super rides, BMW bikes and superb accommodations featured days spent together. Aside from riding, there is time every day to see the sights in the city. We've had a lifetime of experience, and we're sure we'll go riding them again. Thanks to Greg and Viki 3 napos hosszú hétvégén vettünk részt a Wheels of Morocco-val. Köszönjük Gregnek és VikinekPosted on Tripadvisor![]()

Long Weekend Ride with Billy and Wheels of Morocco I would recommend this bike tour very highly. It is professionally organised and run by a great team. The long weekend ride is great if you don't have too much time to spare. 5 days in total with 3 days of ridding around £250- 280 Km per day. The roads and scenery are simply amazing and the WOM ensure you don't miss any of the main touristic and world heritage sites. I would say the ride is not difficult but if you like speed, you can enjoy the twisty roads at speeds you would not get away with on the Swiss Alps or Scottish Highlands.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Fantastic long weekend in Morocco Just waiting for our flight after a fantastic long weekend in Morocco with Wheels Of Morocco. I booked the trip as a surprise for my husband's 40th birthday. Viktoria answered all my questions and believe me, I had loads. My only feedback would be that upon arrival to Marrakech, the transfer information wasn't all that clear, as the taxi firm didn't have a Wheels Of Morocco sign but I had Viktoria's number and we managed to sort it out. Dimitri was our guide and met us at the hotel and made further arrangements to meet later that day for the tour briefing and dinner. We were a group of five, with me as pillion. I was initially nervous about going as pillion, thinking the other members of the group would prefer for the trip to just be men. I was made to feel included in everything, without being treated differently. Great bunch of guys, all with a real passion for biking. Dimitri was excellent. He could not do enough for the group and accommodated everyone's needs. Two members of the group were without luggage and Dimitri arranged for kit to be sent in a taxi from Casablanca. All the hotels we stayed in were high quality, from a five star in Marrakech to Rhiads in the Moroccan countryside. Food was delicious too, a chance to taste authentic Moroccan cuisine. The riding itself was amazing. I'm not a biker and the longest I've been on a bike is a couple of hours, so I was worried about the comfort aspect. We had the 1200 GS and it was very comfortable. Husband thought it had enough grunt to shift the two of us in the mayhem that is Marrakech traffic. The route we took was spectacular. I was surprised how vast the Atlas mountain range was and we explored loads of it, taking in the highest passes. The views were breathtaking, perfect biking territory. Dimitri didn't put pressure on the group to go fast and constantly checked that everyone was ok with the speed and riding position. It was our holiday, not a race! Despite my initial trepidation about the trip, I had a brilliant time and got to experience parts of Morocco completely off the beaten track. If you're thinking of booking a trip and like us, are a bit short on time, the long weekend was an excellent choice as it gave you a real taste of riding in Morocco. Loved sharing the experience with my husband too, only problem is, I know he wants to do all of the other tours now too. Thanks again Dimitri!!!!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Amazing experience done right with Wheels of Morocco I went to Morocco for vacation for the first time back in May 2018. The previous year, I had spent time in Guatemala and had found a great company to do a motorcycle tour with - so I did some research into setting up the same thing in Morocco, and boy did I find a gem. I rate Wheels of Morocco as 'Excellent' for the ease of communication, attention to detail, value, and experience. I booked the Morocco Long Weekend Tour and I have to say it was one of the best riding experiences that I have had so far on a motorcycle. Greg is an excellent tour leader and a great person all around, I would ride anywhere with him. Viki and DImitri are such wonderful people and will strive hard to make sure that your experience is top notch. The group that I rode with was a cosmopolitan collection of happy-go-lucky thrill seekers like me (including a couple of well known television/film personalities), so there was much excitement and fun to be had over the duration of the tour. The motorcycles are in perfect condition. I hope that I am fortunate enough to return to Morocco and ride with them again. Don't hesitate, book with Wheels of Morocco and thank me later!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Highly recommended!!! Last week we did the long weekend tour through the Atlas Mountains starting in Marrakech. Already the communication during the planning of the trip was professional and friendly. The fact that Greg and Victoria are perfectly organized, uncomplicated and helpful was also shown, as my suitcase with all the motorcycle clothing didn't arrive in Marrakesch. Suitable stuff was brought from Casablanca immediately. The tour went through charming, varied landscapes, in the evenings we experienced the fascinating activity in the medinas of Marrakech and Taroudant and the hotels were absolutely fantastic; one more beautiful than the other. Greg is an excellent driver, friendly and sympathetic and he knows telling about the country and its people and their culture in a very exciting way. One of the nicest tours we've ever done. We will never forget the days in this beautiful country! Many thanks to "Wheels of Morocco"!
